Municipal Offenses E-mail

Municipal Cases

Defendants are ordered to appear before the Municipal Court at the time and place shown on the summons to answer charges of violation(s) alleged of the Code of Ordinances.

There are a few ordinances, which have been established as a plea by mail procedure.

These are as follows:

  • Urinating in Public
  • Possession of an Open Container
  • Possession of Cannabis
  • Dog or Cat at Large
  • Removal of Excrement
  • Animals prohibited in Public Posted Places

If you are charged with one of these offenses and do not receive a letter from the court prior to your court date, you may call to proceed with the plea by mail procedures.
