The Glendale Municipal Court has the jurisdiction to hear and determine cases regarding offenses arising under the Charter and Ordinances of the City. In addition to the Judge, one full-time and two part-time employees staff the court. Both adult and juvenile sessions are heard during the day, and traffic court is held in the evenings.

Colorado Municipal Court rules governs the procedures in the Municipal Court. These State statutes may be found at any library. The Model Traffic Code for Colorado Municipalities-1995 Edition has been adopted by the City of Glendale.
The office is open from Monday through Friday, 8:00 am. to 5:00 p.m., and is closed on weekends and City holidays. Court sessions are open to the public.
The Glendale Municipal Court handles the following types of matters:
- Traffic infractions (non-criminal), Traffic offenses (criminal punishment available)
- Municipal Code Ordinance violations, Parking citations, and Juvenile Code violations (defendants 10-17 years of age)

Municipal Court - City ordinance violations are held on Thursday afternoons at 1:30 p.m.
Traffic Court - infractions and offenses are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
Juvenile Court - second Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m.
