Four Mile Historic Park national landmark located partially in Glendale shares history with the City. The Four Mile House was an important stop on the major stagecoach line along the Cherokee Trail into Denver. The frontier log home, originally built in 1859, is the oldest standing residential structure in metropolitan Denver. The house and furnishings, costumes, outbuildings and equipment are authentic for the period of 1859-1883.
