City of Glendale Municipal and Juvenile Offenses / Probation
Municipal Offenses
You must appear before the Municipal Court at the date and time shown on the Summons to answer the charges cited from the code of ordinances. Failure to appear could result in the issuance of a warrant for your arrest. If you are charged with one of the following offenses and receive a letter from the Court prior to your court date, you may be able to proceed with a plea by mail.
  • Urinating in public
  • Possession of an open container
  • Dog or cat at large
  • Removal of excrement
  • Animals prohibited in public posted places

Juvenile Offenses
Whenever a minor receives a summons for a violation, it shall be the duty of the minor’s parent or guardian to appear with the minor at each and every Court appearance. It is unlawful for the parent or guardian to fail to appear. Failure to appear could result in an arrest warrant for the parent or guardian.

Supervised Probation or Deferred Judgment
If you have accepted a deferred judgment in your case or have been sentenced to supervised probation, in addition to any other terms and conditions, you will be required to check in with the probation department by phone monthly.

  • Your name (spell out the last name)
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • If you are an adult, your place of employment
  • If you are a juvenile, the school you attend
