Storm Gloor originally hails from Hot Springs, Arkansas, and is an associate professor in the Music and Entertainment Industry Studies Department of the College of Arts and Media at CU Denver. He teaches courses in music marketing, the future of the music business, and is the faculty advisor for the College’s internships. In 2010, he was the recipient of the College’s Excellence in Teaching award. Storm worked in the music industry for 14 years and holds an MBA degree with a Marketing concentration. He is currently Vice President of the Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association (MEIEA) and was one of the organizers of the inaugural Denver Music Summit. He has been a featured speaker at many conferences and programs nationally and internationally.
Mr. Gloor has served on the Board of the Glendale Sports Center for many years and is an active member of the Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce. He is an avid runner, bicyclist, and record collector. He and his wife Laura have one child, Tempestuous Cecilia.
